HIIT training
Today we had HIIT training, the work outs today were Push ups, Squats, Tap step and star jumps. We had a lot of teamwork, we are using the tabata timing style which was 20 seconds doing an exercise and 10 seconds rests and then we had to repeat that 4-8 time. We had a lot of commitment and we also showed a lot of hard work.

Maths week: Scale drawing
Last week was maths week. For maths week LS2 did scale drawing. It was the first time I did scale drawing it was fun, new and interesting to me. The best part about scale drawing was when we had to actually draw it before we drew it we had to enlarge it, the normal sized grid was a 1 cm square and the enlargement size grid was a 2 cm square . I drew Bart Simpson from the Simpsons it was hard and then it started to get easier. I didn't know what to do at first but I got into it and it started to get easier and easier. Next time I will try to focus more on the drawing and take my time and stop rushing it. This is the finished drawing of Bart Simpson.

Whare hauora Blessing
Panmure Bridge School is the home of New Zealand's first medicube. The purpose of this new building is to make sure that children are fit for school and that they get a sense of focus so that they do not worry about getting sick. Our nurses will carry on doing a good job and making sure we are alright for school. Like every new building at Panmure Bridge School the Maori blessing took place early in the morning and as we are in kapa haka we were asked to perform an item and represent our school. Our song was He Honore which was a nice soft song that we sang to with just an acoustic guitar. We were all proud of our efforts and it was a honour to partake in this event. The Kaumatua went around the medicube blessing the building in Maori. We all followed the visitors into the medicube looking at the space the health nurses are fortunate to receive.

Careers
Today for Inquiry we discussed what we wanted to do for our careers in the future. We went on a website called Career quest and picked the jobs we were most interested in. At the end it calculated which career most suits us the most. I like watching my cousin rebuilding a car so i got inspired by him that is why i picked getting involved in cars trucks or other vehicles, Hair and beauty and personal appearances and sports and recreation.
